City’s Boardwalk Market accepting applications

After another successful year at the Dunkirk’s waterfront, the city of Dunkirk has announced that applications are being accepted for leasing opportunities at the Dunkirk Boardwalk Market.

Anyone interested can pick up an application at the Department of Develop-ment, 338 Central Ave., Suite 210; Clerk’s Office, 342 Central Ave.; or by visiting www.dunkirktoday.com.

Applications are due Dec. 31.

The city is looking for businesses that are willing and able to operate all-year-round.

Portland Board of Commissioners to meet this evening

A special meeting of the Board of Commissioners of the Portland Fire District will be held today at 7 p.m. at the fire hall to conduct year-end business and address any other business that may come before the board.

Perrysburg selling E-Z passes today, Tuesday

Need a last-minute stocking stuffer or gift item? The town of Perrysburg is an E-Z Pass retail location. You can purchase the E-Z Pass tag for $25 from Town Clerk Tamara A. Utley at the Perrysburg Town Hall, 10460 Peck Hill Road. The tag is active for immediate use and holders save 5 percent on Thruway tolls. The tag is accepted in 15 states in the E-Z Pass network.

The town hall will be open for business today from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and Christmas Eve day until noon.
