Westfield Recreation Department provides updates on scheduled activities

WESTFIELD – The Westfield Recreation Department is taking sign-ups, with installments accepted, for a three-day trip to Lancaster, Pa., to see “Moses” at the Millennium Theatre, tour some Amish sites and visit the museum and battlefields at Gettysburg.

The cost is $339 per person, based on double occupancy and including four meals.

Individuals interested in applying for summer jobs at the recreation program or the pool can file an application at the Village Hall window.

For pool applications a Life Guarding Certification is required. Call the office for more information at 326-4243.

Walkers are welcome to use the Eason Hall Auditorium when it is available.

Westfield residents needing help with snow shoveling and odd jobs are asked to call the Westfield Recreation Department at 326-4243.

The department will assist in arranging for a local teen to help.

Recreation Depart-ment programs are continuing. Pilates is held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8 to 9 a.m. at the Eason Hall.

Adult Coed Volleyball are Wednesdays and Thursdays
