CTASC meets Monday in Mayville

There will be a meeting of the Chautauqua Tobacco Asset Securitization Corporation on Monday at 8:35 a.m. in the county executive’s conference room on the third floor of the Gerace Office Building in Mayville.

CTASC was formed by the County of Chautauqua in 2000 to securitize the county’s share of the settlement proceeds of tobacco related litigation involving numerous states and local governments and the tobacco industry. The purpose of the meeting will be to consider and approve the refinancing of a portion or all of the CTASC bonds to take advantage of current market conditions.
