Rowe, Porpiglia earn Chautauqua Striders ROY Honors
The 2013 Chautauqua Striders Runner of the Year Series concluded recently with Adam Rowe and Judy Porpiglia taking the top honors.
The series is sponsored by WCA Center for Orthopedics, Sports Medicine & Rehabilitation.

CCHA B League
Heenan’s 6, Wicked Glen 2 – Derek Sheridan had a hat trick for Heenan’s while Byron Vanzile chipped in a pair of goal in the win. Mike Kozewicz scored the other goal for Heenan’s while assists went to Don Bley (two), Dave Wright and Vanzile. Gary Shain picked up the win between the pipes.
For Wicked Glen, Brian Denea and Kevin Smith had a goal and an assist each. Mike Barrett was the losing goalie.
CCHA C League
Beaver Club 5, Team 6 2 – Brad Meyers had a pair of goals for the Beaver Club while Luke Buehler, Tom Block and Greg Krauza each added a goal. Nick Keefe had a pair of assists in the win while Krauza, Tim Kachelmeyer, Ed Paluch and Tom Block all had an assist each. Shane Rudolph picked up the win between the pipes.
Nick Bailey and Stephen Kiesch scored for Team 6 with assists going to Kiesch and John Boner. Ken Shearer was the losing goalie.

to Host Spaghetti Dinner
The Westfield Wolverines varsity baseball team will host a spaghetti dinner Jan. 5 from 3-6 p.m. at the Westfield Methodist Church.
Take outs are available. Adult tickets are $8, children $6 and senior citizens $6. Tickets can be bought from all baseball players or at the door.
Proceeds go to Westfield Baseball and to help with the Mingo Bay Tournament in South Carolina this April.
