Ardine Wisniewski, 87, of Dunkirk, passed suddenly on January 1, 2014.
Ardine was the daughter of Joseph R. and Eva Wisniewski. She was born in her home on Leming Street where she lived her entire life.
Ardine was a member of Blessed Mary Angela Parish Church of St. Hyacinth. She was fond of saying, “Tell people you love them when they’re alive. After they’re gone, save your tears.” Ardine wants you to remember her by telling someone you love them.
She immensely enjoyed playing bingo with her friends and always grew a great garden.
Ardine is survived by numerous nieces and nephews and will be greatly missed.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by infant brother Joseph, Raymond Wisniewski; sisters Belle Cieslewicz, Josephine DeMonte, Angeline Korbas, Eleanore Sutton, Monica Mucha, Lucy George, Jane More and Emily Narczyk.
Relatives and friends are welcome to call at the R. Mackowiak Funeral Home Inc., 56 East Doughty Street in Dunkirk today from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday morning at 10 o’clock in Blessed Mary Angela Parish Church of St. Hyacinth. Interment will be in St. Hyacinth’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make a contribution to Blessed Mary Angela Parish Church of St. Hyacinth or a charity of your choice.
