Seeing miracles every day

As we recently entered the era of the Christmas season (Advent) it is important to recall; it is a pregnant one of great blessings and miracles.

Everyone’s calendar acknowledged the birth of the Christ child on the date of Dec. 25, 2013.

The awesome miracle, preceding His coming and confirming the location of the divine event, was the special star which led the wise men to the location of Bethlehem, with their gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh in the manger where the Holy family was providentially designed to be.

Preceding this was the Angel’s revelation to Mary, who was chosen by the Holy Spirit to be Christ’s mother, and after this miracle, she was sent by the Angel to visit her cousin Elizabeth where other miracles occurred. One miracle was that after six or seven months of pregnancy, John leaped for joy in his mother’s womb, relating to the spiritual blessings. This was revealed later by Christ as the greatness of St. John Blessings as it surpassed others.

Elizabeth was also struck with the conscienceness of Our Lady’s pregnant status with the Christ child, as she received this double miraculous enlightenment regarding her conception and Mary’s also.

It’s most important that the pro-life mentality and laws be brought back to America and everywhere else as every child’s conception has divinely created an infused soul in the conceived body. With the Founding Fathers’ guidelines of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, how can the child pursue happiness if his or her life is taken?

Each human soul is made in the divine image and likeness. After leaving the body at death, it continues its experience perpetually in harmony with God’s divine will or opposed to it – Heaven or Hell!

A double surprise turned up this week. After returning from Mass at St. Elizabeth’s, we entered our garage where a bird was seen trying to exit the closed glass door. I walked over, opened it, but the bird surprisingly remained. I gently petted its tenderly soft featherly head and neck as it sat on the door closer. Surprisingly it allowed me to gently pet it again enjoyably. My wife and I who both saw this happen, then entered the kitchen for breakfast.

When I mentioned this to a spiritual friend two days later, she surprisingly defined it as a miracle, stating that birds (sparrows) turn up in the Bible. I also recall reading that these particular small birds have a particular attraction to the Divinity.

All life has some attractive features but it is human life (the soul) that is made in the divine image and likeness, designed for heaven and eternity. So America must be brought back to “life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness,” of the founding fathers with “one nation under God” so miracles will flourish and “God’s will, will be done on earth as it is in heaven.”
