‘Monday Morning Memo’ to continue under Horrigan

MAYVILLE – Chautauqua County Executive Vincent W. Horrigan announced he will continue to use the “Monday Morning Memo,” an electronic newsletter, to help county residents stay connected with what is going on in Chautauqua County.

“I strongly believe that our citizens need to stay informed on the key issues and services of county government,” Horrigan said. “The Monday Morning Memo is a great tool in the communication flow across Chautauqua County.”

The “Monday Morning Memo” is a weekly newsletter that was established by former County Executive Greg Edwards in 2008. True to its name, the newsletter is released every Monday morning and it provides residents with insight to important issues going on in Chautauqua County. It also highlights some of the programs and services available to residents, current projects and accomplishments of county departments and events throughout the county.

Horrigan will be sending out his first “Monday Morning Memo” on Jan. 6.

Residents have two ways they can read the newsletter. By visiting, residents can chose to sign-up for the newsletter so it is sent directly to them by email or they can view archived memos through the website. Residents who were already receiving the “Monday Morning Memo” prior to Jan. 1 will continue to receive the newsletter and will not be required to sign-up again.

“I encourage residents to sign-up for this informative newsletter,” Horrigan said. “Signing-up is easy as individuals just need to enter their name and email address to be added to our distribution list.”
