Alleged gunman surrenders
A Dunkirk man who was accused in a city shooting has surrendered.
According to Dunkirk police, Traiquane Nance, 24, of Plover Street surrendered with his attorney present at police headquarters Monday at 11:45 a.m.
He was processed for the outstanding warrant charging him with second-degree assault and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, both class D felonies.
He was arraigned in city court. Bail was set at $40,000 cash/$80,000 property by Judge Walter Drag.
Nance was accused of being the shooter in an incident that took place Jan. 1 at 4 a.m. in the 400 block of Swan Street.
