JAMESTOWN – On Tuesday, Antonieo D. Thomas, 26, of Jamestown was arrested as a fugitive from justice by New York State Police at a scheduled court appearance in the Town of Kiantone Court.
Troopers had a warrant from the Pennsylvania State Police in Warren, Pa., for larceny stemming from a merchandise theft that occurred in September 2013 at the Walmart store in Warren, Pa.
Thomas was also arrested for violation of probation on a warrant from Chautauqua County Probation. Thomas was taken to Chautauqua County Jail.
ELLICOTT – On Tuesday, Rodney E. Thomas, 49, of Jamestown was arrested by New York State Troopers for felony driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop on Route 60 for no license plates on the vehicle he was driving.
Further investigation found the vehicle was stolen from a Jamestown area car dealer.
Thomas was transported to the State Police barracks in Jamestown where a breath test determined his blood alcohol level to be .14 percent.
Thomas was arraigned in the Town of Ellicott Court on charges of felony driving while intoxicated, felony aggravated unlicensed operation, felony criminal possession of stolen property and other traffic violations. Thomas was remanded to Chautauqua County Jail.
Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office
DAYTON – Charles M. Evans, 54, of Cattaraugus was charged with third-degree assault and criminal obstruction of breathing on Saturday. These charges stem from an incident that occurred within the town the previous evening. Evans was arraigned in Dayton Town Court and sent to the Cattaraugus County Jail in lieu of $1,000 bail.
