PEYTON’S PLACE. The expectations here are that Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning will solidify his Hall of Fame credentials Sunday night in Super Bowl XLVIII.
Manning, arguably the best quarterback to ever play pro football, will lead the Broncos past the overmatched Seattle Seahawks at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J.
Forecasters tell us temperatures should be in the 40s and the wind should not be a problem for the game.
Expect to see Denver wide receiver Wes Welker in the end zone at least once, and former Buffalo Bill and now Seattle runningback Marshawn Lynch have nothing to say after the game.
