Brooks’ big day lifts Silver Creek past Westfield, 59-41
WESTFIELD – Jordan Brooks had a game-high 38 points Saturday to help Silver Creek (11-3) ease past Westfield (1-12), 59-41, during non-league girls basketball action.
“Jordan, unfortunately, got the rebounds and put them back in,” Westfield head coach Matt Eggleston said. “We played well other than stopping her. We were fronting her, so they couldn’t get the ball into her, but every shot they missed, she was able to get the rebound and put it back in.”

The Black Knights built a 11-4 lead after the first quarter and held a 23-13 lead at halftime. They went on to outscore the Lady Wolverines, 36-28, in the second half.
