Pee Wee Mixed Division

Fredonia Steelers 1, Buffalo Bisons 0

In a game played at Dann Memorial Rink at The Nichols School in Buffalo, Ethan Brunner’s goal in the first period at the 2:23 mark along with Nick Novelli’s stellar play in goal led the Steelers past the Bisons.

Michael Persch had the assist on Brunner’s goal.

The Steelers next play in the Melt the Ice Tournament in Garfield Heights, Ohio the weekend of Feb. 14.

Fredonia Steelers 3, Hamburg Hawks Selects 1

The Steelers scored once in the first period and twice in the second period and went on to the victory at Steele Hall. Austin Rott, Michael Persch and Alec Schrader had the goals for the Steelers. Jared Glowniak and Ethan Brunner had the assists.

Nick Novelli was in goal.

The Hammerhead Swim Club had 32 swimmers attend a league meet at Orchard Park High School on Saturday, Feb. 8. HHSC swimmers recorded 16 first place, 11 second place, four third place and 53 top ten finishes. There was one new silver time and a total of 42 personal-best times achieved (listed below):
