Judy Parker honored by Pack 126
Cub Scout Pack 126 honored Judy Parker for her 14 years of service at its recent Blue and Gold Ceremony held at St. Mary’s Church in Mayville. Ms. Parker received the Silver Beaver award, which is the council-level distinguished service award of the Boy Scouts of America. Recipients of this award are registered adult leaders who have made an impact on the lives of youth through service given to the council. The Silver Beaver is an award given to those who implement the Scouting program and perform community service through hard work, self sacrifice, dedication, and many years of service. Wayne Schuver awarded the Silver Beaver to Judy Parker. Standing next to Ms. Parker are her two sons, Eagle Scout Michael Parker and Joey Parker, who are both active in Boy Scout Troop 126.
