Student Opera Theater Association presents Opera Scenes, 7 p.m., 1891 Fredonia Opera House, 9 Church St., Fredonia. This year’s production will include scenes from Gilbert and Sullivan’s ‘Pirates of Penzance’ and Lehar’s ‘The Merry Widow’ on Saturday performances. The Friday and Sunday performances will feature Britten’s ‘Albert Herring,’ as well as the world premiere of ‘Orphans in Autumn,’ by Dr. Sean Doyle, professor of music theory at Fredonia. Tickets are $10 for general admission, $8 for seniors, and $5 for students (or 2 for $8).

Gifts of Love Clothing Exchange, 9:30 to 11:30 a.m., Fredonia First United Methodist Church. Free clothing exchange for families with children 6 years of age and younger. Also available are maternity clothes and other children’s and home items. All families welcome.

Buffalo Stamp Club show, 10 a.m to 5 p.m., VFW Leonard Post, 2450 Walden Ave., Cheektowaga. 15 dealers will offer a variety of stamps and related items. Club members will present exhibits of their specialized collections and answer questions. Theme: New York World’s Fairs of 1939 and 1964. Children’s Corner is offered where youngsters can get free stamps and encouragement to start the hobby. The U.S. Postal service will have a booth to offer recent stamp issues for purchase.
