Tax assistance this weekend

The Chautauqua County Earned Income Tax Credit Coalition will have two walk-in VITA Sites on Saturday; SUNY Fredonia Technology Incubator, 214 Central Ave., room 124-125 from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and at Silver Creek High School Library, 1 Dickinson Road, Silver Creek from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

An IRS certified volunteer will prepare your taxes at no cost to you. All tax returns are filed electronically.

You must bring your social security card and picture identification with you. If you are filing married filing jointly, both spouses must be present to sign required forms.

Dolce delivers State of City address today

The public is invited to hear Dunkirk Mayor Anthony J. Dolce deliver his State of the City address today at 3:30 p.m. at Dunkirk High School. Access 12 is scheduled to air the address live.

Stamp show this weekend

in Cheektowaga

The Buffalo Stamp Club is hosting Buffalo’s oldest and largest stamp show at the VFW Leonard Post, 2450 Walden Ave., Cheektowaga.

The hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday. Fifteen dealers will offer a variety of stamps and related items.

The U.S. Postal service will have a booth to offer recent stamp issues for purchase. Parking and admission are free.
