Elton M. Spaulding

SINCLAIRVILLE – Elton M. Spaulding, 91, of Heritage Village Rehab and Skilled Nursing, formerly of Sinclairville, died Sunday, March 2, 2014 at the facility.

Born January 5, 1923 in Conewango, the son of the late Glen Harold and Cecil E. Fuller Spaulding. He had attended Randolph Central School.

A farmer all of his life, he purchased his own farm in Sinclairville in 1948 and operated the farm until retiring in 1987. Elton continued helping area farmers as a hand.

He was a member of the Farm Bureau and Cornell Cooperative Extension.

Husband of 64 years to Gladys J. Bailey Spaulding whom he married November 17, 1946 and died April 5, 2011; father of Elton Wayne of Seffner, FL, Dale W. of Honolulu, HI, Dennis, of Sinclairville and Kathy Spaulding of Angola; brother of Harold Spaulding of Ellington and the late Eugene Spaulding, Frances Sudul and Inez Raymond. Also survived by nephews, nieces and cousins.

A private service will be held at the family’s convenience. Burial in Charlotte Center Cemetery. Arrangements by Jordan Funeral Home, Sinclairville.
