BTA names March Students of the Month

The Brocton Teachers’ Association recently announced the Students of the Month for March.

Eighth grader Kaylee Hamm is the daughter of Barb Smith and Eric Hamm of the village of Brocton. She is a high honor roll student, involved in the school band and chorus and a member of the National Junior Honor Society. Outside of school, Kaylee dances at the Collage Performing Arts Center, enjoys swimming, ice skating, going to movies and spending time with her friends. Kaylee also finds time to visit the residents at the Herbert Star Apartments in Brocton. She plans to attend college to become a doctor.

Senior Devin Walter is the son of Doug and Nicole Walter of Portland. He is on the Brocton Review staff, an honor roll student, a member of the National Honor Society and on the varsity baseball team. Outside of school, Devin enjoys outdoor activities, especially hunting at his grandmother’s house. In the summer, he enjoys fishing. Devin’s favorite class is physics. In September, he plans to attend SUNY Brockport majoring in criminal justice.
