‘Dateline NBC’ to air Taglianetti story Friday

The dramatic story of Anthony “Rob” Taglianetti II and the murder of Keith Reed Jr., former Clymer Central Schools superintendent, will air on “Dateline NBC” Friday at 8 p.m.

Locally, the show will air on Time Warner Cable Channel 2.

Taglianetti, 43, was convicted of murdering Reed after an electrifying 10-day trial last fall that engrossed many with its tragic and even salacious nature.

Prosecutors, after bringing forth countless witnesses and forensics experts, were able to piece together a narrative that showed Taglianetti becoming enraged about an online affair between Reed and his wife, Mary.

Taglianetti then drove 350 miles from his home in Woodbridge, Va., to Clymer and shot Reed three times at his home on Sept. 21, 2012.

Taglianetti received a maximum sentence of 25 years to life in prison on Feb. 24.
