Cheryl Howlett, 50, passed away Saturday night, March 15, 2014, surrounded by close family members and holding the hands of her husband and only son. A remarkable woman; she died from complications from an extend-ed illness at Roswell Park Hospital in Buffalo, NY.
A Chautauqua County native, Cheryl is known by her closest friends as a strong willed, passionate woman, with deep values and an innate ability to comfort and push for excellence out of everyone whom ever had the pleasure of meeting her. An amazing wife, sister, mother and friend that, although will be missed, will never disappear from those hearts that she touched.
She is survived by her loving husband, Randall Howlett, a Dunkirk native whom still lives in Fredonia, and her son Jaime, currently residing in Baltimore, MD. Cheryl has three sisters, Christina Smith, Charlene Bimber, and Chandra Goodway; as well as the Howlett Family, Charles Sr. and Bette Howlett, Charles Jr. and Donna Howlett, Charlene Bell, Thomas and Cindy Howlett and Barry and Penny Davis. Most of them in attendance during her final hours that will also be celebrating her life and grieving her absence.
She will also be remembered by dozens of nieces and nephews and many close family friends for her wisdom and contributions to the betterment of life and lessons she shared with students while working at Fredonia State College in the 2000’s.
Services are pending and in memory Cheryl and her family ask that those willing and able please donate to your local Humane Society and its sister foundations.
