Fredonia Central School offers community education classes

Fredonia Central School will offer the following classes this spring through the community education program:

Tennis for beginners with instructor Wally Latimer will be Thursdays, April 3, 10, May 1, 8, 15, 22, 29 and June 5 from 6 to 8 p.m. The first few weeks of classes, and in case of inclement weather other nights, class will be held in the elementary school activity room. Other classes will be held at the Fredonia Central School tennis courts on the Main Street campus. The instructor will utilize the United States Tennis Association instruction system. Participants must bring their own rackets and tennis balls. Registration fee is $60 due the first night of class. Checks to be made payable to Fredonia Central School Community Education. Pre-registration by Friday is required. The class limited to eight participants.

Stained glass with Lin Finger as instructor will be held from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. in High School Room 107. Classes begin Tuesday and will run eight weeks through June 3. There will be an extra fee for supplies. The registration fee of $30 is to be paid the night of the first class.

Over 50 men’s basketball with instructor Ron Siracuse will run Wednesdays from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. in the middle school gym. The fee is $3 per person per night, payable at the door.

Basketball for men 40-50 years of age with instructor Jeff White will run Tuesdays, 7:30 to 9:30 p.m in the middle school gym. The fee is $3 per person per night, payable at the door.

Until further notice, the 5-hour pre-licensing course will not be offered at Fredonia Central School.
