Rep. Reed to host senior resource event Monday in Jamestown
Tom Reed will host a free senior resource event in Chautauqua County for senior citizens, their family members, and caregivers Monday from 10:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at the Christ First United Methodist Church, 663 Lakeview Ave., in Jamestown.
“We’ll be in Jamestown to give seniors, families and caregivers a chance to have their questions answered on a variety of topics, all under one roof,” Reed said. “It’s important seniors and their families are aware of and have access to the great resources in the area that can have a real impact on their lives. I encourage everyone to attend, whether they have specific concerns or are interested in learning more about what is available. All are welcome.”
Representatives from the Social Security Administration, Veterans Administration, health care providers, Chautauqua County Office for the Aging, and USDA Rural Development among other community-based organizations will be on hand to answer questions and offer guidance.
Reed will also be available to listen to seniors’ concerns and hear their thoughts on what local services they would like to see come to the area.
