Brian E. Pitts Sr.

Brian E. Pitts Sr., 75, of 10 Bradish St., Fredonia passed away Sunday (March 23, 2014) at Brooks Memorial Hospital after a fight with COPD and lung cancer. He was born in Jamestown on Nov. 7, 1938, son of the late Eddie Pitts and Evelyn (Billquist) Pitts. Brian is survived by his wife, Delores (Lorrie) Ludemann Pitts; one son, Brian E. Pitts Jr. and two love of his life grandchildren and will be sadly missed by Kelsey and Abbey Pitts of Dunkirk. Also surviving are a sister, Beverly (Irv) Wright of Arizona; two

brothers, Brad (Vivian) Pitts of Foxboro, Mass., and Burton (Patty) Pitts of the Ashville area; many nieces, nephews and friends, and his canine companion, Daisy. Brian attended Cassadaga Valley Central School. He lived most of his life in Fredonia. He served in the U.S. Army from 1962-1965 stationed in Germany. In his earlier years, he

worked at Kraft Foods, Rotunda Real Estate and for the past 33 years he was an electrical inspector for Atlantic-Inland (NY). He was a life member of the Fredonia Beaver Club, past member of American Legion Post 59 and was a Fredonia Exempt Fireman. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Bruce Pitts; in-laws Marge and Jack Ludemann; and brother-in-law Ronald Ludemann. There will be no prior visitation as Brian chose to donate his body to the University of Buffalo Anatomical Gift Program.
