Spring Dairy Preview May 9-10 in Hamburg

HAMBURG – The Erie County Agricultural Society and Hamburg Gaming are proud to present the 13th Annual Spring Dairy Preview on May 9-10 in the Showplex building. This show will be judged by Nathan Thomas from Cable, Ohio, and there will be over $3,000 to win in awards and premiums. The show is designed specifically for dairy cattle exhibitors, giving them a chance to bring their animals out in a “pre-season” show to see how they compare against competition.

All animals must be registered with a breed association (i.e. The Holstein Association) to show. Check with breed associations for more information about registering animals. The early entry deadline is April 25. Entries will also be accepted until May 9 at noon, but for a higher fee.

Animals must be in place by noon on May 9 and the Youth Team Fitting will begin at 3 p.m. with Junior Showmanship at 7 p.m. being judged by Kelcie Degenfelder of Collins. On May 10, the breed show will begin at 8:30 a.m.
