Dr. and Mrs. Michael Fitzgerald
Nina E. Fedrizzi and Michael G. Fitzgerald were united in marriage on October 5, 2013 in a double ring ceremony at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Syracuse. The wedding was officiated by Fr. Thomas Marciniak, S.J. and Fr. Michael Siconolfi, S.J.
The bride is the daughter of Rick and Cathy Fedrizzi of Syracuse.
The groom is the son of Jim and Rose Fitzgerald of Fredonia.
The bride was escorted by her father. Timothy Davenport was pianist, Tallon Larham served as cantor and J. Avery as head bagpiper.
The bride’s honor attendant was her childhood friend, Caitlin Bennett.
Best men were Timothy and William Fitzgerald, brothers of the groom, and Michael Damiano, lifetime friend.
Numerous bridesmaids and ushers also supported the couple.
The flower girls were Alexandra and Adeline Alberts and Megan Kolceski, all cousins of the bride.
A reception was held at the Aurora Inn in Aurora.
The bride graduated from Westhill High School and LeMoyne College in Syracuse. She earned a master’s degree through the Newhouse School Goldring Arts Journalism Program and is a freelance writer.
The groom graduated from Fredonia High School, LeMoyne College, and SUNY Upstate Medical University.
He is currently an Orthopedic Resident at the University of Vermont College of Medicine.
Following a wedding journey to Italy, the couple is at home in Burlington, Vermont.
