The 1891 Fredonia Opera House was awarded a Community Benefit Grant from the Northern Chautauqua Community Foundation for a new LED lighting system for its historic display case. The display case can be viewed on the second floor of the Fredonia Village Hall. Pictured from left to right are Rick Davis, Fredonia Opera House executive director, Eileen Dunn, NCCF program coordinator and Kathy Kaus, NCCF Board member. Founded in 1986, the NCCF is committed to improving the community through the promotion of local philanthropy, strategic grantmaking and community leadership. Served by a small staff and governed by an all-volunteer board of directors, the organization has distributed over $9.4 million in the form of grants and scholarships within the community.
