Man charged following mail delivery
SPRINGVILLE – A Springville man has been charged after allegedly receiving drugs in the mail. According to the Erie County Sheriff’s Office, Peter J. Kohler, 22, of Eaton Street was taken into custody Wednesday.
Sheriff deputies executed a search warrant at Kohler’s residence at 12:45 p.m. He allegedly had five pounds of marijuana delivered to his residence. Several weapons were also recovered from the residence. These weapons are being examined further to determine if they are stolen resulting in additional charges.
Kohler was charged with a class D felony possession of marijuana, a class D felony possession of an assault weapon and a class A misdemeanor possession of marijuana. He was sent to the Erie County Holding Center pending arraignment in the Springville Village Court.
