Spaghetti dinner on Sunday will benefit Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation
A spaghetti dinner to support the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation is being held on Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m. at the Dunkirk Moose Lodge, 296 Lake Shore Drive West in Dunkirk.
The cost of the dinner is $8. Take-outs are available. The event will also feature music by Digital Extravaganza-Kool Toonz, a silent auction, bake sale, kids’ crafts and a quilt raffle.
The event is sponsored by Cameron’s Crusaders who will donate all proceeds to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. The team is named for 7-year-old Cameron Paternosh who has been affected by Type 1 diabetes since he was five.
His team will participate in a walk on May 31 in Bemus Point. Donations to their efforts can also be made on line by going to jdrf.org, clicking on make a donation and searching for Cameron’s Crusaders.
