Man fires shotgun, charged in domestic dispute
FRANKLINVILLE – A Cattaraugus County man is facing a number of charges after a domestic dispute last week that included threats with a knife, hammer and firing of a shotgun.
The Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Department reported this morning that Osmond E. Hernandez, 30, of 4677 Golden Hill Road, Humphrey, has been released on bail after being charged in the domestic incident that allegedly took place around 9:30 p.m. Wednesday at 20 Cherry St. Hernandez was charged with two counts of first-degree reckless endangerment, three counts of endangering the welfare of a child and two counts of second-degree menacing.
Hernandez allegedly threatened an individual with a knife and hammer, and then fired the shotgun in the direction of a vehicle occupied by two individuals.
He was arraigned in the town of Great Valley Court.
