W/M Rotary hears from librarian
Recently Rotarian Tom Berkhouse introduced Amy Stephenson who talked about the children’s program at the Patterson library.
The Westfield/Mayville Rotary Club has strongly supported the Patterson Library for many years.
“We appreciate your group for many reasons,” said Stephenson, a youth services librarian at Patterson since 1990.
She explained about the library’s six-week summer program that started some years ago and “is still going strong.” She believes the greatest need for all programs is having updated books.
A graduate of Akron (Ohio) University with a B.A. in family and child development with some post-grad work in administration of child care facilities, she also works part time for her husband, Grant Stephenson, the family doctor in Ripley.
