Johnson pitches Bulldogs past Cougars, 15-4

SINCLAIRVILLE Behind Ryan Johnsons three-hitter with seven strikeouts and two walks, Brocton was able to stop Cassadaga Valley (1-2-1-3), 15-4.

The game was close until the seventh inning when Brocton scored nine runs to break it open. Johnson had a two-run single and had only one of two hits that inning as Brocton took advantage of several walks, errors and hit batters.

Connor Dolce and Lathan Dunn split four hits for the Bulldogs.

For Cassadaga Valley, Tyler Simpson had a double, Kyle Ruge and Jaquan Watts singles.
