Carl D. Racinowski

Carl D. “Raz” Racinowski Sr., 52 of Silver Creek, NY passed away unexpectedly on Thursday evening, May 8, 2014 at his residence. He was born August 5, 1961 in Lackawanna, NY, the son of Ronald and Nancy (Vreeland) Racinowski of Lakeview, NY.

A graduate of Frontier High School, “Class of 1981.” He also attended Bryant and Stratton Business School in Buffalo, NY. Carl was a self-employed tattoo artist, he owned Raz’s Tattooz in Silver Creek since 1987.

Carl had many interests; he really enjoyed restoring and collecting automobiles and motorcycles. Drawing, self portraits, cartoons, ceramics and writing poems were some of his other hobbies.

Besides his parents he is survived by two sons, Carl (Katy) Racinowski Jr. of South Dayton, NY; and Christopher Racinowski of Forest-

ville, NY; a daughter Jennifer (John) Racinowski of Derby, NY; a sister, Cathy (Michael) Sullivan of Hamburg, NY; and three grandchildren, Cori and Tucker Racinowski, and Cody Carlin.

Carl was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Irma and Forest Vreeland, and his paternal grandparents, Henry and Sophie Racinowski.

Friends may call at the Hole-Parker Funeral Chapel, 160 Central Ave, Silver Creek, NY Monday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m., a funeral service will be held Tuesday May 13, 2014 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
