The Sinclairville Free Library celebrated National Poetry Month with the assistance of poet, publisher and oral memoirist Michael Czarnecki. “Never Stop Asking for Poems” is the title of one of Czarnecki’s poems which kicked off a recent reading of his poetry, followed by an open reading of poems written by audience members. Czarnecki also presented a writing workshop and conversation where he talked about his writing experiences over the past four decades and shared information about publishing and writing techniques. The audience enjoyed asking questions and learning more about the poet’s life and passion for the creative word. This event was funded in part by Poets & Writers, Inc. with the support of Governor Andrew Cuomo and the New York State Legislature.
