Cassadaga American Legion Post 1280 announces schedule


Overview of day’s activities. See Part II for specific Cassadaga orders. All times approximate.

6 a.m. – Breakfast at the Post (Free to all participants) / Prep for ceremonies

6:45 a.m. – Bus departs Post for ceremonies at various Valley locations

7:05 a.m. – Charlotte Center Cemetery

7:15 a.m. – Burnham Hollow Corner Cemetery

7:30 a.m. – Christian Cemetery, Bard / Shumla Rd

7:45 a.m. – Stockton (Old Cemetery, Stockton/Hartfield Rd.)

8: a.m. – Stockton, Greenwood Cemetery (Cemetery Rd.)

8:15 a.m. – Centralia Union Cemetery

8:30 a.m.: – Red Bird Cemetery (Rt. 380/Sinclair Drive)

9: a.m. Sinclairville Parade

9:30 a.m. – Picketts Corner Cemetery

10 a.m. – Lily Dale Memorial Service (Gun salute/Return to Post upon completion)

10:30 a.m. – Form up/march or ride from Legion to Ames Common (See detail in Part II)

11:15 a.m. – Parade formation march from Ames Common to Veterans Circle, Cassadaga Cemetery

11:55 a.m. – Ceremony/speakers at Cassadaga cemetery

12:30 p.m. – Assemble in front of Legion/Raise flag to full staff/21 gun salute

12:40 p.m. – Fall out/food and refreshments for all guests/Comrades in Legion.

10:40 a.m. – Form-up/March or Ride from Legion to Ames Common

11 a.m. – All units assemble/form at Ames Common
