Creating Environments for Empowerment training June 19

“Creating Environments for Empowerment” training will be offered through the Chautauqua Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Council.

Rev. Grimm/Shadow Fox, will present this training on June 19 from 9 a.m. to noon at The SUNY Technology Incubator, 214 Central Ave., Dunkirk.

This workshop was developed for counselors of addictions and domestic abuse who are actively seeking additional methodologies. It will assist counselors in their counseling efforts by offering clients alternatives when other treatment strategies fail. Anyone struggling with these issues is welcome to attend. Presented will be ideas, perceptions, powerful tools and keys that can help influence a greater awareness of self. The presentation is designed to efficiently and effectively penetrate the veil that constricts the healing process.

Participants will understand that there are laws or energies that influence every aspect of human life and how to utilize their nuances for empowerment.

Participants will learn why people fail or struggle to create what’s really desired, yet are successful in creating exactly what they do not desire.

The course is for the general public and clinicians. Also this course is suitable for those seeking professional credentialing as a Credentialed Prevention Professional or Credentialed Prevention Specialist or renewal hours for a Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor. The 3 hours CASAC renewal, CPP/CPS (Sec. 3) are approved by the New York State Office of Alcohol and Substance Abuse Services.

The fee is $40 and pre-registration is required. Community members interested in the topic are welcome to attend.
