Hanover sewer bills due Monday

Town of Hanover Clerk Janine L. Salzman reminds sewer customers that the last day to pay sewer bills without penalty is Monday, June 9. Payments can be made at the Town Clerk’s office in the Hanover Town Hall before 5 p.m.

Seneca Nation Farmers Market starts Tuesday

The Seneca Nation Farmers Market will be held at the William Seneca Building, 12837 Route 438, Irving on Tuesdays, 11:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. from June 10 to Oct. 28. The mission of Seneca Nation Farmers Market is to provide a venue where regional farmers, food producers, crafters and artisans come together to provide a variety of high-quality, locally-grown healthy food options, organic produce, grass fed animal products and handcrafted goods directly to Seneca Nation members and surrounding communities. Vendors include Oakes Traveling Mercantile, Someday Maybe Farms, County Line Produce, Henry Mast – flowers and Amish-made items and Baked Goods by Shirley. Flag Day ceremony set

The Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks Lodge #922 of Dunkirk will be holding its annual Flag Day Ceremony Saturday, June 14 at 11 a.m. at the Dunkirk Historical Lighthouse, 1 Point Dr. N., Dunkirk.

The public and city officials are encouraged to attend this service commemorating the birth of the American Flag. The rain-out location will be the Elks Lodge at 428 Central Ave.
