Perrysburg announces summer hours

The Perrysburg Town Clerk is announcing summer hours. The town hall will be open on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Wednesday from 1 to 7 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon.

The town hall will be closed on Fridays during summer.

Book-signing event next week in Fredonia

Author Shadow Fox will be present for a book-signing event on Thursday from 9 a.m. to noon at the Creating Environments for Empowerment – Fredonia Presbyterian Church, 219 Central Ave, Fredonia. Shadow Fox is a resident of Brocton. She will be available to sign copies of her book, “Want Not and Be Open to Receive.”

DEC to close Dunkirk fishing platform

The New York State Department of Environ-mental Conservation will be closing the Dunkirk fishing platform June 16-20 for repairs. It will be closed to the public during that time.

Forest Lodge Sunday Family Breakfast

Forest Lodge 166 F & A.M. will hold its monthly Sunday Family Breakfast on Father’s Day Sunday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Breakfast will consist of eggs made to order, pancakes or French toast, sausages, fruit cocktail, toast, juice, milk, coffee, and tea.

The cost for adults and teenagers 13 and up is $6.50. Children 6-12 is $3. Kids 5 and under are free.

The public is welcome, as is anyone with interests in, or who has questions about Free Masonry. Forest Lodge is located at 321 E. Main St. (Route 20) in Fredonia.

Rabies clinic Tuesday

The Town of Stockton will hold a free rabies clinic Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Town of Stockton Highway Building on Railroad Avenue.

Pomfret ZBA to discuss possible pavilion

The Pomfret Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a public hearing Monday at 6:30 p.m. in the town hall to consider the appeal of Kathy Campola of 19 Lakeview Ave., Fredonia.

The ZBA will consider a special use permit for property located at Route 60, Cassadaga.

The property is described as two parcels to be combined and the request is based on the denial of a building permit to build a pavilion and the need for a special use variance for the number of buildings located on the combined property.

Any person may appear in person or by agent or attorney. All interested persons shall be heard.
