Darwin R. Barker Library offering children’s summer programs
The Darwin R. Barker Library in Fredonia children’s summer reading programs will run from July 7 to Aug. 8. This year programs have a science theme. Listen to exciting stories, perform amazing experiments, create nifty crafts, and watch fascinating videos. Complete science and reading challenges to earn prizes.
All programs are free of charge. Programs available are Book Explorers, ages 3rd through 6th grade, held Wednesdays from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m; Bookaroos, ages PreK through 2nd grade, Mondays or Tuesdays, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. and preschool storytime, held Fridays at 10:15 a.m., featuring stories, songs and movies for little ones and their caregivers.

Two special family entertainment programs are also scheduled. On Monday, July 14 at 7 p.m., enjoy the comedic juggling of Gravitational Bull.
On Monday, July 21 at 7 p.m., an evening with folk musician Nan Hoffman will be presented.
