Lillian D. Belz

SUNSET BAY – Lillian D. Belz, age 84, of Sunset Bay, formerly of Buffalo, NY passed away Friday, June 20, 2014 at Absolut at Eden in Eden, NY.

She was born Sept. 28, 1929 in Buffalo, NY, the daughter of the late Henry and Dorothy (Seaman) Winner.

A production worker for the former Carton Craft of Buffalo, NY, Lillian retired after more than 25 years of service.

She was an active member of the Silver Creek AMVETS Post 6472 Ladies Auxiliary.

Survivors include her daughter, Dorothy “Dottie” (Robert) Bonito and a grandson, Robert Bonito, both of Sunset Bay. Also surviving are Geraldine “Geri” (Dennis) Kenney of Sunset Bay and Michael (Joan) Kozlowski of Pendleton, NY, both of whom Lillian helped to raise and regarded as her children.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband of 49 years, Earl Belz; two brothers, Gordon and Joseph Dixon; and also a beloved granddog, “Bourbon.”

No prior visitation. Funeral will be private for the family. A Celebration of Lillian’s life will be held at a later date to be announced.

The family suggests memorial contribution to the Sunset Bay Fire Department or the Chautauqua County Hospice.
