Anderson-Lee Library announces summer events

SILVER CREEK – Paula M. A. Klocek, director of the Anderson-Lee Library and her staff announce a summer full of special events. The library is located at 43 Main St., Silver Creek.

Nan Hoffman Presents: Sing a Story, Read a Song: Come to the Anderson-Lee Library on July 10 at 11 a.m. for a concert for the whole family to celebrate Summer Reading with Nan Hoffman. The Jeffers Present: The Magic of Science: On July 17 at 11 a.m.,watch goofy scientists demonstrate some hilarious experiments! Afterwards, enjoy a special science lab where you will perform science-based magic tricks. This program is free and open to the public. Thank you to the Kiwanis Club for sponsoring this event. Omnipresent Puppet Theater Presents: The Three Little Pigs: On August 7 at 11 a.m., watch The Three Little Pigs. In this puppet show, the effects of strong winds on various building materials for homes and the lung capacity of the adult male Big Bad Wolf will be examined.
