Diana Lee Brooks Jones, 58, of Sanford, Fla., (formerly of Silver Creek, NY) passed away on May 30, 2014 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Diana was born in 1955 to James and Betty Brooks in Atlanta, GA. She was a bookkeeper but mostly a great homemaker and the best “Memaw” ever. She was an exceptional cook and enjoyed cooking and baking for her family and friends. She also enjoyed crafts and most sports, especially NASCAR, Buffalo Bills football and hockey.
She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Andrew Scott Jones; daughter, Rebekah (Matthew) Moreland; granddaughter, Anastasia Moreland; grandson, Raylan Moreland, all of Sanford; in-laws, Phyllis Jones and the late Harold Jones of Silver Creek, Steven (Kathy) Jones, of Silver Creek and Terry (JoAnn) Jones of Cleveland, NC; a sister, Donna; and several nieces and nephews.
Diana was predeceased by her parents and sister, Debbie.
