Three more charged in Deer St. brawl
Three more people have been charged in connection with the recent disturbances on the 500 block of Deer Street in the city of Dunkirk earlier this week.
Sangranita Maxwell, 35; Tocacarra Maxwell, 19; and Travis Maxwell, 16, all of Dunkirk, were all charged with trespass due to their participation in the incidents. Sangranita and Travis Maxwell were also charged with second-degree harassment.
These individuals join seven others charged with disorderly conduct in relation to the Deer Street fights: Terry Young Copeland, 26; Latrece Stewart, 24; Jennifer Mitchell, 33; Tamika Stewart, 20; Edward Casey Jr., 20; Kelly Neallard, 36; and Alberta Maxwell-Battle, 32, all of Dunkirk. Maxwell-Battle was additionally charged with trespass and second-degree harassment.
The city’s police department stated authorities are continuing their investigation, with more charges pending. Officials estimated around 100 people participated in the full-scale melee late Monday night, with two additional flare-ups on Tuesday morning and afternoon.
