E2CCB Offers First STEM Career Exploration Camp at LoGuidice Center

Middle school students from districts throughout the region are invited to participate in a Science Technology, Engineering and Math Career Exploration Program at the Erie 2 Chautauqua-Cattaraugus BOCES LoGuidice Educational Center in Fredonia. The program will be held from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. on July 21-24.

The program has limited space. The cost is $50, please make checks payable to: Institute for Research in Science Technology. Payment can be mailed to: Dr. Michael Jabot, SUNY Fredonia, E250 Thompson Hall, Fredonia, NY 14063, or dropped off during regular business hours at the LoGuidice Educational Center, Building A at 9520 Fredonia-Stockton Road.

The registration deadline has been extended until Tuesday, July 8.

CAREER EXPLORATIONS include: Students will participate in cutting-edge agricultural practices using geographic information systems, aquaculture and conservation practices, explore engineering career pathways using state-of-the-art technology and applications, learn crime scene investigation techniques and discover the science of food during exciting labs and skill drills. Career and Technical Education teachers and professionals will be collaborating with Dr. Jabot in the educational delivery and activities in the programs.
