Bonnie L. Kelley

Bonnie L. Kelley, 59, of Stockton, went to be with the Lord Sunday, July 13, 2014 after a seven-month battle with pancreatic cancer.

Born Feb. 18, 1955 in Westfield, the daughter of Carolyn Kelsey Gilbert of Westfield and the late Lovis Gilbert Jr. (May 10, 2013). She attended various schools, the last being Brocton Central School.

Bonnie was a full-time homemaker, wife, mother and grandmother. She attended South Stockton Wayside Chapel and was baptized in her home in the Spring of 2014.

She enjoyed crocheting, playing cards, computer games and was an avid bingo player.

Wife of 41 years to Paul Kelley Sr. whom she married March 3, 1973; mother of Paul (April) Kelley of Stockton and Tammy (Jeremy) Morton of Ripley; grandmother of Carrie, Emiliee and Ean Kelley all of Stockton, Thomas Smith of Northeast, PA and Sebastian Wescott of Ripley; sister of Linda (Ralph) Gaszynski of Fredonia, Beverly (James) Jones of Westfield, James (Teresa) Gilbert of Eastover, SC, Sandy (late Danny) Tucker of Johnson, KS, Lovis (Addie) Gilbert III of Gilbert, SC and the late Brenda Gilbert (1973). Also survived by many nieces and nephews, some of whom called her “Grandma.”

Funeral service 11 a.m. Thursday in West Portland Baptist Church, 7081 East Rt. 20, Westfield, (half way between Westfield and Brocton). Visitation 5-8 p.m. Wednesday in Jordan Funeral Home, Sinclairville. Burial in Greenwood Cemetery, Stockton.
