Cross Roads’ Cruise Against Hunger set for August 9

How can you help your neighbors while checking out some amazing vehicles?

Come to Cross Roads Farm and Craft Market’s Cruise Against Hunger, of course!

On Saturday, Aug. 9 from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m., Cross Roads will host the 3rd annual “Cruise Against Hunger” classic car and motorcycle cruise-in to benefit the Food Bank of WNY.

There will be an $8.14 entry fee per car with net proceeds going to the Food Bank. Entries will be judged in a variety of classes, and proceeds from the cruise-in benefit the Food Bank of WNY. The Food Bank of WNY helps our neighbors, and Cross Roads wants to help them right back!

In addition, the Blue Star Mothers of Western New York will present a chicken and ribs barbecue to help raise funds to mail care packages to service people overseas. The Blue Star Mothers are a support group of parents whose brave children are serving overseas in the US military. Funds raised from the barbecue will help these mothers continue their mission to send care packages to as many soldiers as possible serving overseas.

For more information about this organization, visit the Blue Star Mothers of WNY’s informational booth at Cross Roads Farm and Craft Market.

What a great way to help two terrific causes and enjoy a day at Cross Roads at the same time!

The cruise-in will feature door prizes, 50/50 drawings, music from the ’50s to the ’70s, dash plaques and goodie bags to the first 50 entrants, and gorgeous weather. We promise! Visitors and participants can vote for People’s Choice, and are encouraged to bring non-perishable food for the Food Bank of WNY.
