Meals on Wheels sponsors Safe Driving Course for community residents
All community residents are invited to participate in a Safe Driving Course sponsored by the Dunkirk-Fredonia Meals on Wheels.
This special course will offer participants a discount on their New York State auto insurance policy for three years and up to four points off their driver’s license record. The courses will be held in the Fredonia University Technology Incubator, located on 214 Central Avenue in Dunkirk on July 21, 23, 26, 29, and 31.
To complete the course, participants must complete both sections one and two. Section one dates: Monday July 21, 2 to 5 p.m. OR Saturday July 26, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m OR Tuesday July 29, 6 to 9 p.m. Section two dates: Wednesday July 23, 2 to 5 p.m. OR Saturday July 26, 12:30 to 3:30 p.m; OR Thursday, July 31 6 to 9 p.m. Workbooks and other materials are provided.
The fee for the course is $35. Cash will be accepted, or checks can be made out to “Lifetime Safety” and mailed to Dunkirk-Fredonia Meals on Wheels, 200 Lake Shore Drive W. Suite 3, Dunkirk, N.Y. 14048.
Meals on Wheels will receive a portion of the proceeds from every person registered.
