Members exhibit over 1,500 projects in 4-H Building

Cornell Cooperative Extension of Chautauqua members had a variety of projects on display in the 4-H Building. The 4-H building is a showcase of the projects created by talented 4-H members, and these items were on display all week. Fair Board member Dave Wilson had the difficult task of judging each club display area.

The Harmony Haystackers 4-H Club won the Division A Category, having 20 or more members, with the Chautauqua Fireworks 4-H Club taking second and the Dog Program taking third. In the smaller Division B Category for clubs having 11 to 19 members, the Cherry Creek Corn Huskers won first place, with Wild Oats in second and Country Critters from Cottage in third place. Winning in the Division C Category for clubs with five to 10 members were the Paws n Pals, while the Fredonia Star Riders received second and the Frewsburg Hayseeds took third.
