CMHS Class of 1964 gathers for 50-year reunion

The Cardinal Mindszenty Class of 1964 held its 50th reunion the weekend of July 18 to 20. Festivities began with a tour of the former school and priest’s residence on Central Avenue, now housing Southern Tier Environments for living, followed by a meet and greet at Rookies on Lake Shore Drive. On Saturday, the group enjoyed a formal dinner, program and dance at the Kosciuszko Club, with music by David Yuen Show. On Sunday a Memorial Mass was offered at Holy Trinity in honor of deceased class members and faculty.

Each classmate received a program and an engraved stylus pen. Most changed female/male awards were given to Elaine Bleck Yuen and Mark Elfman. Classmates who married classmates – Jim and Carol (Ivory) Crolle and Dan and Arlene (Braccio) Polowy – received gifts. Bill Novaro also received a gift for having the youngest great-grandchild.

Classmates attended from many sections of New York as well as Ohio, Pennsylvania, California, Nevada, Kentucky, Missouri and Florida.

The weekend event was coordinated by Christine Woloszyn Matyjakowski and Nancy Pagano Wagner.
