Erie Golf Club
Wednesday Travel League – Chad Gollnitz and Ed Tofil tied for the low round of 80 at Erie Golf Club in Erie, Pa.
Gollnitz was the overall winner on the first tiebreaker hole and the victory was the first of his career. Wayne Ormsby had the low front-nine score of 38 while Tofil had the low back-nine score of 39. Tofil also recorded a season high five birdies in his round.
Butch Mackowiak and Gary Hazelton won the B and C Flights, respectively while the winner of the Commissioner’s Award was Bob Stone.

Jammers to Host
JCC Alumni Night
Jamestown Community College alumni, family and friends are invited to JCC Night at the Ballpark as the Jamestown Jammers take on the Mahoning Valley Scrappers on Aug. 31 at Russell E. Diethrick Jr. Park.
Gates open at 3 p.m. and the game begins at 4:05 p.m. Diethrick Park is located at 484 Falconer St. in Jamestown.
Bleacher tickets are available to JCC alumni free of charge. Each alumnus is limited to a maximum of six tickets.
Since tickets are limited, advance pickup is encouraged. Tickets can be obtained at the switchboard in the Hamilton Collegiate Center on JCC’s Jamestown Campus from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
The event is sponsored by the JCC Alumni Association on the Jamestown Campus along with the JCC administration, Student Senate and campus life office.

Fredonia Central Cross Country
The first team practice for the Fredonia cross country team is Monday, Aug. 18 at 4 p.m.
Runners should meet on Tinman Hill at the college. Practice will run from 4-6 p.m. on Monday and 9-11 a.m. the rest of the week.
Male and female athletes, in grades 7-12 are welcome to join the teams. New runners are welcome with no running experience necessary.
All athletes must fill out the brown/yellow health form and turn it in to the nurse.
