Legislator Mills announces Collins Library breaks record with 2014 fundraiser

COLLINS – Erie County Legislator John J. Mills is pleased to announce that the 8th annual Collins Public Library Hot Dog Roast Fundraiser raised $1,380 to support the library’s purchase of new furniture. The funds were raised on July 26 at the 8th annual Hot Dog Roast Fundraiser.

“The community of Collins has always strongly supported the Hot Dog Roast fundraisers and with $1,380 raised this year the record was once again broken. I want to thank everyone who stopped by to buy a hot dog and donate to the library,” said Mills.

The money raised will be used to pay for new furniture and shelving. Last year’s event raised $1,116.

The 2014 Hot Dog Roast Fundraisers have raised nearly $10,000 for the libraries in his district.
