League of Women Voters to host speaker on Sept. 10; public invited
The first luncheon meeting of the year for the League of Women Voters of Chautauqua County will take place at the White Horse Inn in Cassadaga at noon on Sept. 10.
The topic of the month is the redistricting proposal on which New Yorkers will vote on Nov. 4.
The speaker for the luncheon will be Raymond J. Rushboldt, currently Director of SUNY Model European Union. His major teaching interests are American politics, including voting and elections and state/local government, and in comparative politics (especially western Europe and the former Soviet Union.) He is an alumnus of SUNY Fredonia and recipient of the Dawley Award for Outstanding Senior in Political Science at Fredonia.
